Free Registry Cleaners
Finding a decent Registry cleaner might seem like a simple task, but because of all the choices, it can be quite difficult. There are probably hundreds of different Registry cleaners available right now, but these are not all the same. Many of these products will not properly clean the Registry and some can be harmful to your PC.
So what you need to do is find a trusted Registry cleaner that has been proven and that you will feel confident using. Here are a few free Registry cleaners that have stood the test of time and will definitely help improve your PC performance.
1) CCleaner
This product has been around for quite a while and it is definitely a great product. CCleaner is free and extremely popular too. It does a pretty good job in cleaning your PC. It includes the features you would expect like cleaning out temp files, cookies, index.dat, fixes third party applications and removes invalid/corrupt keys from the Registry. It has support to clean out files for all the major browsers and you can find both 32bit and 64bit versions of this product.
This is another very nice Registry cleaner that is 100% free. Eusing Free Registry Cleaner will scans your Windows registry for invalid or obsolete information and provide a list of the errors found. After fixing the invalid entries, your system will be more stable and run faster.
Eusing will fix Dlls, invalid ActiveX, invalid paths, invalid fonts, missing files, obsolete software kwys and much more. It also has multi-language support which is a very nice feature. The interface is not as nice as Ccleaner, but a great product nonetheless.
3) WiseCleaner
WiseCleaner have both a free and a paid version. The free version is still a top product and we thought it is worth a mention. If you have tried other Registry cleaners, or just looking for something new to test out, then this is worth a shot. WiseCleaner will help speed up your PC by cleaning out junk that accumulates in the Registry.
The free version does a neat job of cleaning out the Registry junk. It scans the Registry, flagging orphaned or bad Registry entries, and shows you the name and values for each. It identifies Registry entries that may be dangerous to delete, and those that are safe to delete, so you can distinguish between the two. It also lets you decide which entries to delete, and which to keep. For safety's sake, it can also back up your Registry before a scan, so that you can restore it, if the program causes any problems. If you do want to further optimize the Registry, then you will need to go for their paid version.
Listed above are some very nice Registry cleaners and we recommend that you check them out. The don't offer the same type of features or support as the industry leaders like Regcure, but they are still a nice way to optimize your PC.
